Involvement Opportunities

BOJO Mentoring Program

Thank you for your interest in the Bowie BOJO (Boosting Our Jackrabbits Onward) Mentor program. We are seeking community volunteers to assist Bowie ISD Students by developing lasting relationships and assist with reading. Bowie ISD believes that a caring adult has the potential to change the life of a child and the BOJO mentoring program is seeking volunteers to assist in this process. We are seeking those who are able to offer a minimum of least 30 minutes a week to serve on a campus for at least one year.

Training is always conducted a few times in the fall, but then as needed by Mr. Neese.

Please call (940) 689-2921 or Email Mark Neese with any questions!

BES WATCHDOGS

WATCHDOGS is a program for fathers or other male family members. The WATCHDOGS come to the campus to assist students and act as positive male role models for our kids. Dr. Neese leads the training in the fall. Dads can sign up for visits that work with their schedule.

If you are interested in participating in this program please contact Mark Neese.

Please call (940) 689-2921 or email Email Mark Neese with any questions!

Campus Improvement Team

BES is always looking for parents and community members to be a part of our Campus Improvement Team and the District Improvement Team. This committee meets four times per year. We develop, review and revise the campus improvement plan together. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the procedures, programs and other activities that happen here at BES. You can have a voice in our school improvement. Please contact Kathy Green if you are interested in helping us grow.
